Of course, no robot Stepford wife would ever have clutter around the house, but for those of us in the real world, clutter does indeed happen from time to time. But did you know that it can take five to ten minutes to pick up an entire room? That's it!
But my favorite tip for clutter-free living is the "One Minute Rule". It's very simple: if a small chore would take a minute or less to do, do it right then and there when you realize it needs to be finished! Have a pile of paper that needs to be put in the recycling bin? Do it! See a plate that needs to be put in the dishwasher! Do it! If you follow the One Minute Rule throughout the day, you'll find that you space stays nicer, longer, and that you're not having to spend an evening "picking up"!

Beauty Essentail
Something I swear by? Mary Kay's Oil-Free Eye Makeup Remover. It works wonders. It claims to be oil-free and when you use it for the first time, you'll think to yourself, "WHAT?" because directly after removing your eye makeup, the area is a bit moist. But! If you wait for just a moment, you'll notice that the feeling quickly goes away and leaves your optical area nice and moisturized!

Angel Cookies
Also knowns as Cream Cheese Cookies, these are a rich, family favorite!
Ingredients:
-1/4 cup of butter or margarine, softened
-1 package (8 ounces) of cream cheese, softened
-1 egg
-1/4 teaspoon vanilla
-1 package (18.5 ounces) of yellow or devils food cake mix
Process:
-Cream butter and cream cheese
-Blend in egg and vanilla
-Add the dry cake mix, 1/3 at a time (make sure you mix it in very well. And, if you're using a mixer, add the last 1/3 by hand).
-Cover and chill for about 30 minutes
-Heat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit
-Drop small teaspoonfuls onto an ungreased baking sheet
-Bake 8-10 minutes or until lightly browned on the top
-Cool slightly before removing from baking sheet
This should make between 6 to 8 dozen cookies and should look a little something like the picture below (sorry - it's a little blurry).

Simply Spelndid Tea
Enjoy an afternoon with the ladies with some tea, in incredibly chic teapots and tea cups.

And don't settle for any ole' tea. Mix it up with some fabulously colored treats, such as this Republic of Tea Pink Grapefruit Green Tea.

Welcome!
There is something I find simply irresistible about the town of Stepford. No, not the robotic women or power-hungry, controlling men, but large, beautiful homes with perfectly manicured lawns, sun dresses and wide-brimmed hats, day spas and days of baking delicious breads and cupcakes.
So, this is my little corner to express all the fabulous Stepfordesque fashions, ideas, home decor, recipes, and more. I hope you will enjoy!
